Mr Bubby was a good soal. He always did his best to help out anyone in need!

Mr. Bubby was a icon in Old Jefferson. He was know to be a kind and loving person. He will be miss in neighbor hood.

We didn't know "Bubby" but Loula Margaret spoke fondly of him.  She tells of the talks they had about baking and cooking.  We do, however, know Dane and such a good man has to come from good people.  We all offer our sympathy for your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

With great sadness, we have lost an angel.  He lived a good life and was very special to a lot of people.  Always helping those less fortunate whether it was family, friends or strangers.  And there were no strangers in his long life!!!  He greatly missed the love of his life and now he is with her (Aunt Vivian).  I loved hearing all the stories of him growing up with his dad, siblings and tons of friends.  What a great time they had even growning up during the depression.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  I loved when he would tell me "I'm going to deliver the commodities to the old people" as he was in his 80's himself.   He never thought of himself being old.  He was always on the move.  That's what kept him going.  He will always be with me and I know he truly loved me.  With deepest sympathy and all my love. Bubby made my day everyday he came to the Pink House. I would sit and talk with him and we would share so many things that happened in our lives over the years.As site manager for meals on wheels, I really enjoyed the things Bubby would cook or desserts he would make and bring to share with all of us.
He was given long life from the Lord and that is a blessing. May he rest in peace.

My greatest memory of Mr. Bubby is growing up and him visiting my parents and pulling into the driveway, blowing his horn and asking me to "burn him some toast". He said I made the best burnt toast! I will miss him. My thoughts are with all of you.
