Sue Au

Sue Au passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011, in Metairie, LA, at the age of 61. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Au of 38 years. Mother of Henry (Stacey), Jimmy (Alicia), Alice, Annette (Mario) and Edward. Grandmother "Ama" of Shay, Ava, Kaia and Aiden. Sister of Yee Chih Lee. She was predeceased by her parents, Jing Cheng Lee and Sik Ying Yeung. Sue was born in Tainan,Taiwan and has been a resident of Louisiana since 1976. She was fiercely devoted to her family and worked hard all her life to help provide their need and wants. Shopping, going to the movies, gardening, and spoiling her four grandchildren were some of her favorite activities. Sue was a radiantly beautiful woman inside and out. She had a vibrant personality that brought immeasurable joy to others and showed unfailing kindness to anyone she met. All who had the privilege of knowing her will always remember her as a fighter who courageously sacrificed her life for her husband and family. Her loved ones now have the assurance of her salvation and home in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten. In honor of Sue, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
