Stephen Joseph Rizzo

Stephen Joseph Rizzo, 65, of New Orleans, passed away on January 11, 2022. He was the owner of Uptown Delivery Pharmacy. Stephen was known for his bigger than life personality, his generosity, and most especially, his love of the arts and Mardi Gras season.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, La.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 until 12:30 with a recitation of the Holy Rosary prior to the Mass.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Stephen and Lena Mae Rizzo, his brother, Michael Anthony Rizzo, and many other beloved relatives and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Catherine Rizzo Prescott, of Alexandria, La, nieces Stephanie Prescott Kidd

(Joshua), Angela Prescott Dumas (Matthew), and Claire Rizzo Terrell (Scott).

Stephen was lovingly known as “GUS” (Great Uncle Stephen) to Madison, Hayden, and Cameron Kidd, Logan Dumas, and Jasper Anders.

Interment will follow with a graveside service on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville,La.
