Richard Charles "Dick" Ingalls

Richard Charles “Dick” Ingalls passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday afternoon, March 20, 2016. He was 86 years old. Beloved husband of Evelyn Scheuermann Ingalls for 63 years. Loving father of Margie Faulk (Charlie) and Suzanne Straughan (Nordy). Grandfather of Eric Faulk, Tyler Faulk, Norwood Straughan, Jake Straughan, and Taylor Straughan. Great-grandfather of Addison Faulk and Amelia Faulk. Brother of the late Tim Ingalls. Son of the late Edward and Agnes Coogan Ingalls. Dick was a native of Hornell, New York, and has been a resident of the New Orleans area for over 64 years. In high school, he was a talented basketball player. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and retired as a bus operator from the Regional Transit Authority after 35 dedicated years of service. Dick was an avid Saints fan, holding season tickets for the majority of his life. He will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial prayer service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
