Raymond F. Vath Jr.

Raymond F. Vath, Jr., age 76, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away October 20, 2016. He was born in New Orleans on September 1, 1940. Ray graduated from De La Salle High School. He was married to Nada Jurisich Vath on January 26, 1963. Ray worked in the oyster seafood industry. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #9347. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Nada, children; Dawn Corass(Eddie), Raymond S. Vath(Becky) and Deborah Adams(Michael); grandchildren; Ashley, Brian, Steven, Luke, Melanie, Tiffany, Rachel, Marissa, Stacey, Spencer; five great-grandchildren; and sister; Ann Flick. He is predeceased by his parents Raymond F. Vath and Elmera Gonzales Vath and his sister, Lynne Weis. He will be greatly missed by all those he loved. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation with the family at Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church, 8617 W. Metairie, Metairie, Louisiana 70003 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Monday, October 24, 2016 with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
