Michael Matthew Lovrovich, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Mike was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of Denise Monié Lovrovich for 25 years. Beloved father of Hannah Marie Lovrovich. Son of the late Nick Lovrovich and Angelina Kovac Lovrovich. Brother of Margaret Lovrovich and Jean Capponi. Uncle of Alex Monié, Dana Reine, and Dawn Ficher. Best Buddy to the family yellow lab, August. Graduate of Brother Martin High School and UNO. Mike was known as a “Happy” and “Friendly” guy, and enjoyed working with his colleagues in the Marine Industry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 6425 West Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, April 27, 2013 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Roch Cemetery No. 2. Following interment, there will be a reception with light refreshments at St. Mary Magdalen. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association. A special thank you is extended to the EJGH CCU.
