Michael S. Breaux Jr.

Michael Stephen Breaux Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 38 surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 15, 1978, “Mike” to most and “Bro-Ha” to some, attended St. Catherine of Siena (’91), Archbishop Rummel High School (’96), and University of New Orleans (’01). A Saints season ticket holder, he loved anything to do with football. He enjoyed coaching for his son and godson. He “thanked God almighty he was a Raider!” Beloved husband of Trisha Duvernay Breaux. Loving father of Michael S. “Trey” Breaux III. Son of Michael S. Breaux Sr. and Judith Blouin Breaux. Grandson of Joyce H. Blouin, Patricia P. Breaux, the late Gaston L. Breaux Jr., and the late Herbert A. Blouin, “Paw-Paw”, who was very special to him and whom he missed dearly. Great-grandson of the late Julia T “Heddy” Vicknair. Brother of Courtnie E. Breaux and Ashley Breaux Farnsworth (Chris). Son-in-law of Don J. Duvernay and Patricia Warner Duvernay. Brother-in-law of Kristy Duvernay Cleveland (Jason). Uncle of Nathan T. Breaux, Addison A. Blackwood, Allyson M. Cleveland, Annabelle L. Farnsworth, Christopher R. Farnsworth Jr., and Jenna Leigh Cleveland. Nephew of Jaynie Blouin Owen (Tom), Joni Blouin Freibert (Roger), and Gary L. Breaux (Debbie). Michael is also survived by many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions on behalf of Trey’s education would be appreciated.
