Mary Louise Thibodeaux Pareti, age 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Paul Pascal Pareti III for over 65 years. Loving mother of Catherine Camarata (Kerry), Sandra Pettus (Fred) and Paul Pascal Pareti IV (Pamela). Grandmother of Cynthia Kelly (Vance), Christina Camarata, Kimberly Gimma (Victoria), Cheri Magee (Tony), Steven Pareti, Megan Perry, Micah Perry and Matthew Perry. Great grandmother of Violet Houston, Delia Houston, Harlan Houston, Evelyn Gimma and Jayden Lindsay. Sister of the late Cecile Ducote, Roy Thibodeaux, Isabel LeBlanc, Inez Roussel, Charles Thibodeaux Jr., Irene Scallan, Eunice Cote, Florence Eckers, James Thibodeaux and Jeanne Cruse. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pareti was a native of Raceland, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. She had been a parishioner of St. Angela Merici Church since its founding. Mrs. Pareti was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Sunday evening, November 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Monday morning November 14, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
