Mary Margaret Bourg Bourgeois

Mary Margaret Bourg Bourgeois, age 73, of Saint Rose, Louisiana peacefully passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Clement Bourg, Jr., and Amelia E. Touchard Bourg. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Hilton Germaine Bourgeois, brother, Michael Bourg (Carol), sisters, Elizabeth Thelemann (Phil), and Patricia Delbasty (Adrien), and her grandson, Clayton Poche'. She is survived by her loving daughters, Ashley Poche' (Benjamin), and Anne Bruce (Richard), her five beautiful grandchildren, Molly Poche', Maggie Poche', Marley Poche', Mallory Poche' and Beau Bruce and her brothers, Robert Bourg (Barbara), Francis Bourg (Dianne), and Ronald Bourg (Karla).

A native of Kenner, and then moved to St. Rose where she lived for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Mercy Academy and a lifetime parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Kenner. She started her career as an operator with South Central Bell and continued on with Bell South, and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short St., Kenner, Louisiana. Interment will immediately follow at St. Charles Borromeo cemetery, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana.
