Mark Allen Huggett

Mark Allen Huggett, age 59, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. He is survived by his son, Brandon A. Huggett, parents, Betty C. Huggett, and Thomas J. Huggett, Sr. (Anita), brothers, Thomas J. Huggett, Jr. (Eric), Michael P. Huggett (Brenda), and Kevin C. Huggett, his Godmother Jane Nell Corvers, and his ex-wife Joy Huggett, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mark loved to dedicate his time to the Special Olympics, handicapped children, and making a lasting impact on those he met. He would spend hours doing his favorite hobby fishing, and spending time talking to everyone and telling stories. His passion for sports included the Saints, LSU Tigers, and Auburn Tigers. He loved getting together with his family and friends during the holidays and eating his favorite foods. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Mark will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 am. Inurnment will immediately follow at Lafayette No. 1, 1427 Washington Ave, New Orleans, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to The Louisiana Lions Camp committed to the children of Louisiana.
