Lilly Ducote Whitfield passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 94. She was born in Cottonport, LA and lived in Metairie, LA for 61 years. Beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Whitfield. Mother of Gail W. Arnold (A.J.). Grandmother of Alfred “Al” Arnold, III (Traci). Great-grandmother of Madisyn F. and Jourdan C. Arnold. Preceded in death by her parents, Orphelia and Odelia Guillott Ducote and siblings, Irene Mayeux, Winnie Ducote, Enola Firmin, Hampton Ducote and Leo P. Ducote, Sr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
