Lerlin Leah Kain

Lerlin Leah Huth Kain, age 80 years, passed away at 3:00 am on Saturday February 3, 2018, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Harold and Leola Huth. Beloved wife of the late Ernest J. Kain, Sr. Loving Mother of Ernest J. Kain, Jr and Lisa Marie Kain. Mother-in-law of Ann Miller Kain. Grandmother of Ryan Kain, Kristen Kain Clew, (Kevin), Kaitlyn Kain, Tony Rodriguez and C. J. Cruz. Great-Grandmother of Brady Clew, Cameron Clew, and Ethan Clew. A native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie for 48 years, she was a long time parishioner of St. Ann Church. Lerlin had a big heart and kind soul; she gave of herself freely and unconditionally. Those who were blessed to have known her are left with many wonderful and crazy memories. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, La. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 3:0O PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will follow at 6:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers masses are preferred and as she would say,” THAT’S ABOUT IT “!!!
