Leatrice "Doll" Giafaglione

Leatrice “Doll” Giafaglione, born on July 11, 1925, passed away at her home on July 3, 2012 at the age of 86. She is survived by a son, Dominick Giafaglione; three daughters: Conchetta Giafaglione, Inez G. Lord and Donna G. Richards; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Lambert (wife, Beverly) and her longtime friend and former husband, Angelo Giafaglione, Sr.

Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inez “Pat” Palmisano and Camile Lambert; a brother, Edward “Buddy” Lambert and two sons, Anthony “A.J.” Nastasi and Angelo Giafaglione, Jr.

Doll was born in New Orleans and lived in Harahan for 50 years where she was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
