Joseph "Chuck" Harris, Jr.

Joseph “Chuck” Harris, Jr. was born on December 14, 1959, to Joseph Harris, Sr., and Alice Jamison Harris in New Orleans, LA. On Friday, June 24, 2022, at West Jefferson Hospital, in Marrero, LA., he answered the call of our Heavenly Father and entered full eternal rest at the age of 62. He worked for many years in the healthcare field at River Oaks Hospital in Harahan, LA. Most recently, he was employed in the Foundation Room at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA. Husband of Mary Eugene Harris, father of Jenee’ A. and Jordan D. Harris, grandfather of Jerzie Michelle Beverly. Also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also the Pastor, Officers, and Members of Second Free Mission Baptist Church, former coworkers of Mr. Harris at River Oaks Hospital and the House of Blues Foundation Room, employees of LCMC Children’s Hospital Ambulatory Care Clinics, AVO Restaurant, and the Officers and Members of the Original Dukes Club, New Orleans are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Second Free Mission Baptist Church, 1228 Burdette St., New Orleans, LA.
