Beloved husband of Wanda Fleming Donovan after 41 years of marriage.

Loving father of Blaine and Brent Donovan.

Father-in-law of Tara Donovan.

Devoted grandfather of Shelby and Talon Donovan.

Proud step-grandfather of Payton Clinton.

Brother of Iris D. Rotolo.

Son of the late Dorothy Hammer and John Joseph Donovan.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Donovan was a United States Army Veteran of the Viet-Nam War era, a former Auditor for National American Bank after many years of service, a Racing Official with the New Orleans Fairgrounds and Jefferson Downs Racetrack, a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Kairdolf sons, the nurses and staff of Eagan Health care and Fresenius Dialysis Facility for the love and care that they provided.

Aged 68 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 37 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 444 Metairie Rd. Metairie on Monday December 20, 2010 at 11:30 a.m.

Interment in Lakelawn Park Mausoleum.

Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
