Janice LeBlanc Aucoin passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the age of 87. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and resided in Kenner, LA since 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond LeBlanc and Jeanette Landry LeBlanc, the love of her life, Lawrence "Larry" J. Aucoin, Jr., her son, Wayne J. Aucoin and her great-great granddaughter, Arabella Perrilloux. She is survived by her siblings, Hobson LeBlanc (Carol), Elizabeth Ann Vedros (Wilbert) and Charles LeBlanc (Dianne); her daughter and best friend, Daryn A. Clark (Steve); her daughter-in-law, Trudy Aucoin; four grandchildren: Jennifer Snowden (Stephen), Adrienne A. Mizell (Justin), Laura Aucoin (fiancé, Kevin), and Wayne Aucoin, Jr. along with five great-grandchildren: Donavan and Lauren Snowden, Jayce Aucoin and Mason and Olivia Mizell. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren: Matthew and Michael Snowden and Mason Perrilloux in addition to numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was a graduate of St. Stephen High, class of 1954. She retired from Joaquim Hearing and Speech. Janice loved to travel, was an active member of the Busy Bees and enjoyed playing LCR, Bonco and Pokeno.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
