James Anthony Flotte (known to everyone as “Jimmy”) died Monday, September 3, 2012. He was born on June 3, 1989 in New Orleans, the beloved son of James and Claudia (Espinosa) Flotte. He is also survived by his grandmother, Rosemary Espinosa and by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jimmy attended Holy Name of Jesus School and graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He attended Tulane University for 2 years where he enjoyed watching football and spending time with his friends and family. His life would seem too short to many, but for those who had the opportunity to know him and to have spent time with him, they were all touched by him and knew the kind-hearted and fun-loving person that he was. With Jimmy’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him every day. He will remain forever in our hearts.
