It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Michael Manguno announces his passing on Friday, December 7, at the age of 63 years old. Glenn grew up in the Irish Channel, was a resident in Metairie, and lived in Kenner for many years. He was a graduate of University of New Orleans, recently retiring from a long career in sales. Glenn loved baseball, The Saints, traveling, and spending time at the beach. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his delicious chocolate milk shakes! Glenn will be lovingly remembered and treasured by his three children, Tabatha Benoit (David), Dawn Bearden (Shawn), and Todd Manguno (Vanna). He was known as Pops to his precious grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alexis, and Makayla Benoit, Shannon, Corey, and Sarah Bearden, Tommy and Cadance Thibodaux, and Trevor and Kesla Manguno. He was the proud, protective big brother to Colleen Boudreaux (David) and Shawn Manguno. Glenn was the beloved son of the late Nathalie Scully Cave and grandson of the late Melville “MeMe” and Mary “Granny” Scully. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, who adored him. A funeral service in memory of Glenn will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. Visitation will be from 9-11AM with a memorial service at 11AM. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Blvd in New Orleans.
