Gerard (Jake) Halligan, May 12, 1932 – June 10, 2013. He was 81 years old. Son of the late Florence Riehm and Everett Pat Halligan. Beloved brother of Dorothy Halligan Estave, Gloria Halligan Hotard, Patricia Halligan Cantelli, Floyd Halligan and the late E.J. Halligan, Raymond Halligan and Rosemary Halligan Daleo. Uncle Jake was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Jake was born and raised in the Irish Channel of New Orleans, LA. He served proudly in the United States Navy for 8 years. He was a member of the Seafarers International Union and retired from the Maritime Industry. Funeral services will be private.
