Elizabeth Anne "Betsy" Kelly

Elizabeth Anne “Betsy” Kelly, age 56, entered into heavenly peace after a battle with cancer on Saturday, October 29, 2011. She was born in New Orleans, LA on September 21, 1955 to James Bernard “Healer” Kelly, Sr. and Josephine Dallao “Josie” Kelly. She resided in Metairie for the past 24 years. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Marie Rodrigue and a granddaughter, Christen Elizabeth Magee; most beloved sister of James Bernard “Jimmy” Kelly, Jr. (Janie) and former spouse and dearest friend of Michael Bergeron. Also survived by a sister, Karen Vitale (Ralph); a cousin, David Gilbeau; a stepson, Mario Baughman and step grandsons, Camron and Nicholas; a niece, Sarah Vitale and a nephew, James Vitale. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Robert Derochers, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, November 5, 2011 beginning at 11:00 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 1:00 PM.
