Daniel William Osborne

Daniel William Osborne, age 70, set sail from these earthly shores on Monday, May 20, 2013. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved father of Darnell Scheurich (Jon), Chalon Bertot (Carlos) and Danny Osborne (Amanda). Grandfather of Scott, Dylan and Max Scheurich, Courtney, Logan, Alexandra, Mia and Noah Bertot, Elise and Naomi Osborne. Also survived by his brothers, Randall (Paula), Noel (Nancye) and Kerry (Cathy) Osborne and his sisters, Patrice Tafaro (Ross) and Lacey Toledano (Rykert). Son of the late William C. and Pearl Kerrigan Osborne. Also loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Osborne was an annual attendee of the Stump Lagoon Swoon, was a member of the PKT Fraternity and was a proud graduate of St. Aloysius High School, LSUNO and Loyola University. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Thursday, May 23, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
