Daughter of the late Laura Steib Richardson and Joseph Lawrence Richardson.

Sister of the late Lawrence Joseph “L.J.” Richardson.

Loving mother of Kathie B. Palestina (and husband, Jay), Pattie A. Belcher, Karen A. Belcher and the late Albert William “Billy” Belcher III.

Aunt of Cynthia R. Tucker (and husband, Garry Sr.).

Devoted grandmother of Tasha G. Hanks (and husband, Mitchell), Mandy L. Barahona (and partner, Du Nguyen), Michael J. Palestina, Andreau W. Belcher and James T. Belcher.

Proud great-grandmother of Jimmy James Belcher and Elise Laura Hanks.

Great-aunt of Garry Tucker Jr. and Jordan Tucker.

Also survived by her longtime dear friends and other relatives.

Aged 79 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a most recent resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Retired from Haynes Middle School after 20 years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Friday, March 16, 2012.

Visitation begins at 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Mass in the Chapel at 1:00 PM.

Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, Louisiana.
