Betty Lou Chatelain “MeMe” Robertson passed away on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 80 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Charles H. Robertson. Loving mother of John A. Robertson (and wife, Cathy) and James W. Robertson Sr. (and wife, Charlotte), by whom she will be sadly missed. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer Sumrall (and husband, Charlie), Charles Robertson (and wife, Christina), Gina Dean (and husband, Denty), James, Christopher, Timothy and Tabitha Robertson. Proud great-grandmother of Michael and Abigail Robertson, Dustin Kerwin and Carmen and Olivia Sumrall. Daughter of the late Marion and Laura Chatelain. Sister of the late Robert Chatelain, Irene Bordelon and her half-brothers, Tony and Larry Chatelain. Sister-in-law of Daisy Chatelain. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Robertson was a retired clerk with Check in Check out and Kwik Check after almost 30 years of service, and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. A native of Mansura, Louisiana, former resident of New Orleans, Louisiana and most current resident of Metairie, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Helm Paint and Supply are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Tuesday morning March 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
