Arthur Olivier McGowan

Arthur Olivier McGowan, age 90, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013. Beloved husband of 62 years to Anna Mae McGowan. Devoted father of Jodie Quigley (Wayne) and the late Timothy McGowan. Grandfather of Candice Reinhardt (David), Ashley Wynne (Brett) and Andrew McGowan. Great-grandfather of Sophie and Lucas Reinhardt and Cullen Wynne. Brother of Aurelia Rolfes and the late Michael, Brother Ignatius, Olivia, Anne and John McGowan. Son of the late Olivia Ross McGowan and Arthur C. McGowan. Also survived by his extended Martinez family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Arthur retired from South Central Bell after 37 years of employment. He was a member of the American Legion Post 175 and the Telephone Pioneers.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena, 105 Bonnabel Blvd. in Metairie, LA on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation will from 10:00am until Mass time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
