George was born on July 29th, 1940 in Dallas, TX to George and Gertrude Saddler. He was a 1959 graduate of W.W. Samuel High School in Dallas. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington and served in the United States Army. He made a lifelong career out of his love for photography. George loved to make people laugh, he always had a corny joke to tell. On your birthday morning he would love to give you a call singing Happy Birthday to you even though he definitely did not possess the singing talent that his sisters had. Over the years he had created a huge collection of all things Garfield, his favorite cartoon cat. He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene and had a deep love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Saddler; his children, Micah Saddler, April Smigielski, Krista Bell and Matt Sanderson; his sisters, Lorraine Fowler and Darlene Laws; his seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he all loved dearly.
