Edward Leon Craine, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday April 17, 2015 at the Mesquite Specialty Hospital. He was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Walter Craine and Bernadine Young. Edward was raised in Flint where he graduated from High School and then joined the US Navy where he served as a radio operator on the USS Monrovia. After the Navy he attended and graduated from both Bartlesville Wesleyan College where he received a B.A. in Ministerial studies and Tri County vocational school where he studied computer aided drafting. Edward was introduced by his second cousin to the love of his life Marlene and they married August 1, 1964 in Albuquerque, NM. Edward worked for the Mountain Bell telephone company from 1970 – 1975 and then Phillips Petroleum from 1976 until his retirement in 1993. He was a Bible scholar, in his spare time, Edward loved to study the bible and was an avid student of Bible prophecy. He was committed to his wife, his family, and his faith. Edward is survived by his wife Marlene Craine; sons Lonnie Craine, Todd Craine, and Ron Hester; brother Carl Craine; as well as his grandchildren Cody Craine, Lindy Craine, Lauren Craine, Ariel Craine, Ashton Craine, Joshua Hester, and Genesis Hester; numerous nephews and nieces.
