Donald Joe Marshall

Marshall, Donald Joe of Seagoville, Texas, 82, passed away Tuesday evening, January 25, 2022, in Mesquite, Texas. Don is survived by his dearest and loving friend Virginia Muttera, his children Donna Jimenez-Walker; son- in-law Larry Walker, Grant Marshall; daughter-in-law Nori Marshall, Brandon Marshall; significant other Robin Kasson, his grandchildren Chris Brannon; wife Brandi, Dustin Brannon, Celena Jimenez, Joseph Jimenez, Gabrielle Walker, Nathan Walker, Lucas Picknard and Lindsey Picknard, and great grandchildren as well as a former son-in-law and best buddy Raymond Jimenez, and daughter-in-law Shelley Marshall.

Born in Miami, Ok on December 30, 1939 than moved to Denison, TX shortly after and was raised in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Marshall attended Thomas Jefferson High School of Dallas, TX then served in the US Navy for 8 years, and studied at North Texas University in Denton.

Mr. Marshall is proceeded in death by his wife Susan Marshall, parents B.P. Marshall of Denison/Sherman, TX and Emma B. Marshall of Van Alstyne, TX, and resided in Dallas, TX.

Don was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Mesquite, Texas was enthusiast of Invicta watches, knifes, airplanes and ships. Loved to go, travel and loved shopping. Don was quick witted and kind. Nothing could top his love for Dairy Queen and telling a dirty joke!

Don was an executive of Braniff Airlines, Air Florida, and Gulfstream Airways in Miami, Fl. After leaving the airline industry he returned to Texas where he settled in Seagoville, Tx.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday , February 1, 2022, at Grove Hill Cemetery, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. Interment will follow at another date with Military Honors.

The Marshall family has requested that any guests in attendance please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing.
