Claire Adele Wilson passed away November 17, 2024, at the age of 80 in Dallas Texas. Claire graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School, and attended Ball State University where she received a BA degree in Social Work.
Claire retired from Chrysler as a line worker, housed and cared for Foster children for 5 years, and worked for Child Help as a social worker for 10 years.
Claire lived her life by this verse, she was vibrant, loving with a radiant smile that lit up the room when she entered. Anyone who knew her, was blessed by her charm and her generosity knew no bounds.
She enjoyed going to the Casino, traveling, music, dancing, cards and Bingo. She lived her life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and she loved her dogs (Fluffy, Sugar, Nelson, Billie, and Nellie).
Although Claire is not with us today, she will live in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kwame Agyeman; her children, Sonya Lynne Combs (Dan), Rollie Rory Todd Lamont Nelson, Gena Roychelle O'Leary (husband, Tim). Grandchildren; Brooke McKillip (wife, Andrea), Michael Combs (husband, Richard), Kayla Nelson, Ealese Nelson, Cheyanne Nelson, Josie Rington-Nelson, and Cash Nelson. Sisters; Willa (Candy) Ford, Linda Kay Harvey. Brother; Ronnie Smith.
Preceded in death by grandparents; Rollie and Nina Shuemak, mother and father; Lester Cosby and Ella L. Shuemak, aunt; Geneva Robinson, nephew; Leroy Robinson, brother; Rodney L Smith, niece; Latasha Willis and special daughter, Faith Elizabeth Denney.
