Brandon Scott Miller, aged 23, passed away on June 21, 2018 in Balch Springs, Texas. He was born on
July 6, 1994 to Chester and Rhonda Miller. Brandon was a graduate of Mesquite Academy. He was a proud Eagle Scout, Troop 67. He was always a volunteer in the UT Southwestern Heart Walk with his mother and father. He loved classic cars. Brandon had a love for music and loved “DJing”. When he had the chance he would go to Corpus Christi to the beach. He loved palm trees and tropical things. Most of his gaming friends knew him as “Palm Shade”. Brandon and his daddy were always doing crazy things together. They picked up an old riding lawn mower, fixed it up, and raced it around the block. (There went the neighborhood.) One thing I know is if you had anything electrical or technical that needed to be fixed -- he was the one to do it. He never met a challenge he couldn’t overcome. We love you and you will be truly missed.
Brandon is survived by his parents Chester and Rhonda Miller; his son Carson Casy; aunt Kimberly Tague; Uncle Scott Reed; grandparents Douglas and Nancy Reed; cousins Austin Tague, Cody Calahan, Kane Reed; and his pet Abby.
A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in the memorial chapel of Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, Mesquite, Texas.
A Go Fund Me page has been created to purchase palm trees to be planted in the honorable memory of Brandon "Palm Shade". The link is found below.
