April Dale Hall, age 74, passed away on January 16, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1947 in Cozad, Nebraska to Lucille and Clifford Abbott. April was raised in Lexington, Nebraska where she graduated from Lexington High School. She went on to marry the love of her life James Hall in 1996, and they enjoyed a long and beautiful life together. April built a successful career spanning over 45 years working as a Business Analyst at an International Financial Bank.
In her spare time, April was happiest being outdoors enjoying lawn and garden activities. April was a 22 year old breast cancer survivor who loved supporting and promoting the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, an organization dear to her heart. April enjoyed the holiday season and making special candies and desserts. Most of all, April found great joy in encouraging and supporting all the life activities of her two grandkids, Nick and Rachel.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful wife, loving mother, encouraging mother-in-law, and matriarch of the family; her laughter, sincerity, love and compassion; her dedication to family, and immense love and adoration to her grandkids.
April is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Gengenbach; father, Cliff G. Abbott; sister, Ivy Olin; and half-brother, Gary Abbott.
She is survived by her husband, James Hall; son, Lance Nunnally; daughter-in-law, Amy Nunnally; grandson, Nicholas Nunnally; grand-daughter, Rachel Nunnally; sisters, Terry Spradlin and Helen Mason; and brother, Gaylord Stauffer.
She will forever be loved and missed by extended family and friends: Wayne and Pat Hall, Lynda Funderburk, Gene and Rita Hall, Kathy and Leon Brockington, and many more.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in April's name (please see direct link below).
