Alex Glenn Dale Conner, 58, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2015. He was born in Dallas, TX to the late Alex Glenn Conner and Margaret Conner. Alex resided in Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, Mesquite, and in Farmersville. He was married twice. His first marriage was to Linda and they had one daughter and twin boys. His second marriage was to Vickie Conner whom he was married to for 37 years and had two daughters. Alex was a hard worker and he worked all of his life at various jobs, but the last 17 years of his life was spent working for Corporate Express. He was a dedicated employee, and no matter how he was feeling, he always went to work with a smile. In his spare time, Alex enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially the toy runs during the holidays. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, Grilling, Camping, singing, and playing the guitar. He was a hero to many, a great husband, father, and Grandpa. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a huge heart and would always help anyone in need. He was smart and stubborn, but very well liked by everyone he met. He will be greatly missed. Alex is preceded in death by his parents Alex Dale Conner and Margret Martin; brother Rex Conner; sister Lyceria Ann Conner; great niece Lea “Cheyenne” Miller. He is survived by his wife Vickie Conner; daughters Cassey Conner, Latisha Watson, and Diana Conner; sons Alan and Glenn Conner; sisters Vonda Conner and Shirley Tuttle; brother Danny Conner; as well as his numerous loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
