Zarren Mitchell Hattery, aged 20, passed away on the 11th of October 2024 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born on December 14, 2003, in Mesa, Arizona. Zarren graduated from Red Mountain High School as a certified chef from EVIT and received his associate’s degree from Mesa Community College simultaneously in 2022 earning an honors scholarship to GCU. He was attending Grand Canyon University to become a Behavioral Analyst at the time of his death. Zarren volunteered with A New Leaf and Hospice of the Valley while regularly dedicating time helping those within the ASL community. He was widely regarded as a kind and compassionate individual, making a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He consistently radiated positivity and had a generous spirit; he will be sorely missed by the many lives he touched. Cooking was one of his passions for many years, and he could always be found in the kitchen. Zarren loved to skydive, read, hike, write poetry, and self-taught to play piano and drums. He loved photography as well as the theater having a passion for the arts, especially musicals. He also taught himself sign language and was learning Latin. Zarren is survived by his loving Dad and Mom; Don & Moni Hattery as well as his siblings; Mackenzie & Aaron Cuellar; Maiston Hattery; Sage & Kamryn Hattery; and Chloe Hattery; and he was a favorite uncle to Kaiden, Lianna, & Kolt Cuellar.
