In his childhood the family moved to Arizona where William attended Chandler public schools and graduated from Chandler High School.
He was married to Lucinda (Cindy) on September 7th, 1983, they had a wonderful 46 years together. William worked in the circuit board industry for several years then spent time with his late father-in-law Don Thoman chopping and selling wood from Apache Junction, AZ.
He was a lifetime collector of antique and military items and was passionate about attending gun shows, antique, and yard sales. His stories about his “scoops” were legendary and you would likely hear about it more than once. He was a friend to many and was well known for his quick wit, charm, and compassion.
He was an amazing father, loving grandfather and great grandfather who loved us all fully and completely.
His life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife Cindy, daughters Jennifer (Michael) Murray, and Sarah (Ben) Dojaquez. Grand children Danielle (Joe) Wagner, Christie (Oni) Antimie, Jenna (Mike) Leeds, Ryleigh (Antonio) Rivera, Mikenna, Ellie, Madelyn, William, Noah & Austin. Great-grandchild Emilia Wagner. Sisters Vicki Radebaugh of Chandler and Anne Roemer of Durango Colorado. Niece’s Brenna (Miss Katie) Penrod of Los Angeles, CA, Allison Rico of Durango, Colorado and all family, friends, and his beloved Chigger the dog.

Dad spent time volunteering and participating in bomber camp. He had the privilege of riding in their planes and was proud to be a part of this foundation.
A a celebration of life for William will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Red Mountain Recreation Center, 7550 E. Adobe St., Mesa, AZ.
