Bill served his country in the United States Air Force from 1962-1966. He loved classic toy trains, especially American Flyer models. He would build entire cities, complete with Department 56 buildings, mountains, and tunnels. Bill liked sailing at lake pleasant. He also enjoyed classic cars, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and rock climbing in his younger days. He also enjoyed aviation, especially WWII vintage planes. Bill is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gwen D. Crow; and son, William Crow. He is preceded in death by his father, John Crow; mother, Mabel Crow; and sister, Connie Biddle.
A Funeral Service for Bill will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 4:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206, with a Visitation one hour prior from 3:00-4:00pm. Interment will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2 :00pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
