“God looked around the garden and
saw an empty space.
He then looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and
lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful for
He only takes the best!”
(Native American Poem)
In loving memory of Walter A. Reisch, a cherished husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who went into God’s arms on June 2nd, 2024.
Walter was born on April 7, 1953, to Arline Pearson Reisch and Lawrence Reisch. He enjoyed the company of his brothers, Lawrence Reisch (deceased) and Richard Reisch.
He was survived by his wife Monica L. Reisch, his stepdaughters Kenia Auer and Camila Ampuero, his sisters-in-law Leonor Reisch and Barbara Reisch, and his nieces Deeann Johnston, Colleen Peehler, and his nephew Mark Reisch.
Walter’s kindness and wisdom touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.
May his soul rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. He shall be missed dearly!
“I give you this one thought to keep,
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds
In circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone – I am with you
still – in each new dawn.”
(Native American Prayer)
