Virginia Espinoza, 95, passed away peacefully in her home on March 5, 2022. Virginia was born to her adoring parents, Predicanda and Alfredo Martinez in Phoenix, Arizona on January 16, 1927. “Virgie,” as she was known by family and friends, was the ultimate homemaker who unselfishly sacrificed to create a loving, nurturing home for her husband, Louie, and their seven children. She was well known and admired in the neighborhood she lived in for 61 years, and will be lovingly remembered for her quiet strength, her dedication to family, and her loyalty to friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie, her brother, Joe, and her grandson, Mark Sullivan. She will be especially missed by her children Kathy Sullivan (Mark), Linda Maule (Pat), Karen Thelander (Dan), Louis, Diana, Larry (Kim), and Robert, 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, her sister, Dolores, her sister-in-law, Rosie, and extended family. A Mass Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler AZ.
