Shirley is survived by her brother Ronald Davis in Utah, sons Steven Oestrike in Mesa Arizona, Robert Oestrike and his wife Brenda and grandchildren Caleb, Rachel and Benjamin in Glen Rock Pennsylvania. She was succeeded in death by son Donald Oestrike, brother Mack, and sisters Helen and Betty.
Shirley was born in Lehi Utah to Ira Mitchell Davis and Laura Davis. She was born a Mormon and She was a happy child and enjoyed days a travel while bringing the sheep to market. Her father was a "Wool Grower" and though that experience led her to a lifelong love of dogs, or which she had 12 or so, most of them being her favorite breed, Toy Pomeranians. Shirley also loved music. Her Sister Betty taught her to play the piano and she loved to play. She also had a sweet soprano voice and sang with the church choir, at church event and specials, and a wedding receptions. Her love of music led to organize a Kitchen Kazoo Band and they all had great time playing at local senior centers. Shirley's greatest love was for her savior Jesus Christ. She was led to the lord by a generals wife in Wiesbaden Germany and reborn a Protestant in 1968. She realized her need to be baptized and found the First Baptist Church for her baptism and has been a Baptist ever since.
