Scott David DeTota, resident of Gilbert, Arizona (previously of North Barrington, Illinois), passed away on December 17, 2020, at Promise Hospital in Mesa, AZ at the age of 53. Scott was born in Albany, New York and graduated from Guilford High School (in Connecticut). Scott earned his BS Degree at Arizona State University and was a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Nichole DeTota; their children, Blake and Makena; sister, Pam DeTota; brother, David DeTota; nephew, Nick (Heather) Migliore; niece, Leah (Josh) Migliore-Martinez; great niece's & nephews, Tori, Taylor, Summer, Pryde & Sloane, among an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott had a very fulfilling career in the Computer Industry working for CDW, Micro Warehouse and Insight. He was fortunate to have made meaningful friendships throughout his extensive work travels and experiences.
Scott enjoyed golfing, playing hockey, cheering for his sacred Buffalo Bills football team, experiencing life, traveling and most of all being with his family.
Scott actively contributed to Folds of Honor, CASA, Children’s Miracle Network, NCMEC & the Charlie Cancer Foundation.
He was a great leader, mentor, father, husband and friend.
A Celebration Of Life walk through viewing will be held at 11:00 am - 1:30 pm on December 28, 2020 at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206.
