Well it has been a few month and I am still looking for you at the office. A few times I could hear you tell me to stop chatting with Grace and get back to work. I even felt my chair shaking a few times only to turn around to see that there was no Richard Bauer standing over my desk.  I miss you Richard ! Your son is lost without you. Your girls still trying to understand why? How ? Your memory eternal . We love you. Debbie Bauer 

He was a wonderful man.  Usually very quiet, but always with a smile.  While he was sick , he did not complain much and probably not enough,  He was always with a smile.

He did like to have fun and he always took care of his friends.

He knew how to have fun.  He knew how to enjoy life.

I will miss him.  I mean really bad.

Richard provided me both personal and professional support during some really hard times.  He gave me work when I was first starting out and stayed with me during the years of building my business.  I always enjoyed hearing his fishing and hunting stories and his political commentary.  He will be greatly missed.

I have no words for how much you are going to be missed. Thank you for believing in me. Trusting me. Being honest with me. Pushing me, even when I didn't want to be pushed. You were not just an amazing boss, but you are my best friend, who I could tell anything to, and know that the advice you gave me was true and honest. I will miss you for that. We have no choice in life but to go on. I wish we didn't have to do it without you. I love you Richard. This isn't goodbye... I will see you again 1 day. Grace, I'm here for you, always.

Richard could never say a bad word about anyone. Always positive, always joking, always smiling.  Your smile may be gone but your memory is not.

Missing my once a week text from you checking in. I am blessed to be your daughter in law and I promise I will take care of your son and grandson and future grand children. You will always be in our hearts and home, never forgotten. We will know your with us when we are on the river, we will see you in the sunsets and feel you in the breeze.

Richard was a great guy, I think he actually made me a better person. I know he gave me a job when I was having a really hard time finding one. I'll always appreciate Richard for that. I'm sorry to all his family, I know it was shocking like it was when I found out.

When I heard about this today, I was deeply saddened. I enjoyed laughing with Richard in the mornings at the Mountain Bridge Clubhouse.Rest in peace Richard. Thanks for the smiles. Vinny Panessa

Rich was just 3 months older than me and I guess that's why he and I got along so well. We loved just talking about our generation and things we grew up with. Funny how a business relationship can turn to a friendship so fast when two people have so much in common. Losing Richard is like losing a comfortable part of my life. He did so much more in his life than I could ever do and it's simply not ok to say goodbye to such an incredible guy. I was so lucky to spend time with him. This hurts. I hope that his family knows how many people love him. You guys have got to be hurting if it hurts this bad with knowing him for only a year, I can't imagine your pain. There is nothing good coming out of Richards death. Simply nothing. I miss him and I know you guys do too.
