Ralph Gordon Grant, born April 8, 1942 to the late Lloyd and Lucy Grant, passed away October 4, 2017. A graduate of Gallatin High School and Austin Peay University, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and his Masters of Orthodontics from the University of Tennessee. He was a Captain in the US Air Force serving as a dental officer. He had a successful orthodontic practice in Nashville. He was an avid sports lover and played football and tennis for Austin Peay. After he retired, he moved to Arizona and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Survived by his wife Patty Grant; children Deborah (Mike) Otto, Michele (Kelly) Burns, Brad Grant, Chris (Eileen) Gann; grandchildren Chantele (Tyler) Wooden, Tyler Otto, Brooke Burns, Brady Burns; brother Jerry (Nancy) Grant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity. Per his wishes, a memorial service will not be held. The family will be having a private service.
