Phil was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He often spoke of his childhood memories at The Riviera Club, Shortridge High School, and the Boy Scouts of America.
In 1951, he graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. Phil was an active member in ROTC and proudly served in the Korean War. Upon his return, Phil attended Indiana University where he received a Master’s in Business Administration and met his future wife, Marilyn.
Phil and Marilyn married and moved to Fort Wayne, IN, where they resided for 45 years. Phil worked for ITT Aerospace Optical until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed a love for gardening and tennis when he and Marilyn retired to Mesa, Arizona in 1999.
Phil was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Clark, sister, Virginia Clark and his parents, Ralph and Virginia Clark. He is survived by his children Terry Clark (Cathy), Barbara Clark, and Carolyn Huffine (Steve) along with his five grandchildren, Aaron Clark, Samantha Clark, Amanda Huffine, Emily Huffine and Erica Huffine.
Philip will be honored in a private ceremony.
