Norma Dell Chapman passed away quickly from a sudden abdominal infection on 12-20-15, with family at her side. She was born in Sayre, OK on 11-18-30 & lived in OK, TX & CA during her early years. She met the love of her life, Jack O'Brien Chapman, at a dance in 1947 & they danced through 61 years of marriage. He was career Navy & they traveled extensively before settling in Phoenix in 1960. They later lived in Cottonwood for over 25 years until Jack passed away in 2009, then Norma moved to Mesa. Norma's life was her family, but loved gardening, sewing & did work outside the home as a secretary, nail technician & seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Dennis, grandson Sean, parents & two brothers. She is survived by daughter Denise Dyer-Polisano (Dennis), granddaughters Shannon Piano & Kelly Chapman, 2 great-grandkids, 2 step-granddaughters Nicole Genegabus & Andrea Trimberger (Ryan), 3 step-grandkids, 2 sisters and a brother. Memorial service on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E Broadway, Mesa, AZ.
