Michelle I. Lehner passed away March 2, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. Michelle was born April 24, 1956 in Billings, Montana to Bryan and Marjorie Ballard. She attended schools in the Billings area. She was an excellent pool player, which very few people knew. She had an extreme love of dogs and she knew all dog breeds. She loved humming birds and always kept humming bird feeders filled with her magic potion, which at times attracted dozens of birds. She loved her two golden retrievers, even loved her daughter’s dog.
She was always full of humor and total devotion to the good things in life. Michelle often talked about riding her horse as a kid. She was a horse fan.
Cooking was one of her favorite things to do at home. She tried anything and it was always good. Holidays with family were always special with her. She loved having the entire family over.
She had Bunco parties every month with all the women getting together to eat, drink and play. She loved doing these parties.
Michelle is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Bobby. Michelle is survived by her husband, Doug; daughter, Brittney; and son Brandon and his wife, Kathy; also, 3 grandchildren, Bryan, Avery and Jaclynn, 3 sisters, Kathy, Diane, and Susie and a brother, Rick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm followed by Funeral services on Friday, March 7, at 10:00am; both will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202. At Doug’s request, In Lieu of Flowers, please make a contribution to any Animal Reserve Center or purchase a hummingbird feeder in Michelle’s memory.
