Michael is survived by his parents Jim and Ruth Killion of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his sister Kathy Kitteredge and brother Pat Killion his daughters Amber Collins and Misty Burris. Michael is the proud grandfather of Alexis Collins, Samantha Collins and Lincoln Burris.
Michael was born on July 16, 1959 in Aurora, Colorado. Mike moved to Arizona in 1977 to go to college. His career as a Master Pipefitter gave him great pride. He was involved with many projects in the Phoenix area such as Boing, Orbital, and Motorola.
Mike loved his family and enjoyed being active in life going camping, fishing, and off roading in his free time. One of his greatest joys was his sand rail, which he built himself. Mike was a member of AZ Baja Club.
A remembrance will be held on Friday March 22, 2019 at Miele’s Italian 2050 West Guadalupe Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come gather for one last Friday night dinner to honor the life of Michael Wayne Killion. In leu of flowers plant a tree (NationalForests.org).
