Mary (Kendrick) Carson currently of Mesa, AZ, at sixty-six years young, passed from this life on Monday, November 8, 2021. Mary was born in Brockton, MA to Virginia and Alton Kendrick on February 10, 1955.
Mary was first a patriot. She served in the US Army, where she met the love of her life, William Carson. They were married on January 3, 1979, and proceeded to build a home full of love, laughter and support. They had two children, Laura and Heather, who were Mary’s world. She was a stay at home mom at first, dedicated to giving her children the love and support they needed. Later in life, Mary returned to the workforce at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, continuing her love for country in service of those fellow veterans who needed care. After retirement, Mary continued her service to her country and community, being a part of the Citizen’s Police in College Station, TX, helping to organize various drives and fundraisers, as well as supporting her friends and family.
Mary is survived by her two daughters and their families: Laura Carson, her husband Thomas Lawrence, and their fur babies Frik, Frak, and Sandy; Dr. Heather Carson, her husband Thomas Lucas, and their fur babies Arya, Gimli, and Thor; Brothers Hank and his wife Maria, Lee and his wife Sandy, George and his wife Barbara, and Joe, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents and her husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary’s name to The American Cancer Society, The National MS Society, or The American Lupus Society.
