Joseph Talerico, of Mesa, AZ, was finally able to lay down on April 30, 2016. He was born on January 4, 1922 in Worthington, WV, to Giovanni and Mary Talerico. Joe served in the Army during WWII, in the Army Air Corp from 1946-1949 and in the U.S. Air force from 1949-1966. Joe enjoyed many things but what he enjoyed most was going to the casino with Donna Jean. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean and daughter, Bonnie Yates. He is survived by his children Mary (Ron Bowers) Talerico, Teresa West; 7 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. In keeping with dad’s tradition of making sure everyone had enough to eat, food will be served at his celebration of life on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10 am to 12 noon at Melcher Chapel of the Roses, 43 S.
