It has been 5 years and I still miss you.  You were not only my mom but my good friend.  I need you.  I love you.

Hello dear friends
I've come to offer my belated but very sincere condolences. 
While surfing on the internet, I discovered the photo of this very smiling lady attached to her death notice.
This face looks very much like that of a young woman I knew more than 30 years ago who had the same name as the deceased: Joan BASSETT. I think it was her daughter. We had harvested together in the Beaujolais and at Saint Emillion, we were good amis and then I had the joy of visiting her in California. She and her husband were extremely welcoming and friendly with us. We flew over their beautiful region. I want to thank them again and remind them of my friendship.
My own mother also passed away and like Mrs. Dee Bassett's, her smile is unforgettable.
Please believe, dear friends, in my affection and in my prayer for her, for you. God bless you all.
