Jim was a great and loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a strong and selfless man, with a kind and giving heart. Jim was a man with a strict code of principles. He would not allow those to be compromised by another. He had a powerful testimony of his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. He engraved that testimony into his loved ones and shared it with the world. Jim is survived by 5 children, Stacy, Jason, Shannon, Michael, and Daniel. He also has 2 brothers Kenneth and Ralph, a son and daughter in law Jarrod and Jesse and 5 grandchildren, Colten, Rylee, Marlee, Taylor and Lucy. Visitation for Jim will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, Arizona, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1150 W. Combs Road, Queen Creek, Arizona 85142.
