George Thomas Raymond

George was born in Newark, NJ. He had loving parents Linwood and Lillian Raymond, 3 brothers, Linwood (Lin), Frank (Bud) and Robert (Bob) that preceded him in death, and 1 sister Joyce Raymond Jackson who will miss their phone conversations and in person visits. George married Constance Joan Zulewski 10/28/61. They had 3 children Audrey Raymond Jones, Jo-Ann Raymond, and Clint Adam Raymond. George moved the family from NJ to CA in March 1976 for a new sales job opportunity in the emerging high tech industry in the Silicon Valley of CA. After a decade in high tech sales, George took a job at Lockheed Martin where he worked as an engineer checker for design analysis. He was part of the Lockheed Martin team that designed the Hubble Space Telescope for NASA. George retired from Lockheed Martin in 2000.

Upon retirement in 2000, George, Connie and their daughter Jo-Ann moved to Mesa, AZ to be near to their son, Clint and his family. Connie passed away from multiple myeloma 6/23/02. George then married Rosalinda Empestan Raymond 10/02/02. They had met over the summers of 2000 & 2001 when Rosalinda helped care for Connie & Jo-Ann. They had 22 years of love and laughter together.

George is survived by his wife Rosalinda, his daughter Audrey Raymond Jones, son in law, Dale Jones, grandchildren Derek, Adrianna and Donovan Jones and great granddaughter Harper Jones. His son Clint Raymond, daughter in law Eryn Elliott Raymond, grandchildren Joesph, Tyler and Chrislynn Raymond. And his daughter Jo-Ann Raymond.

The family is holding a small, family graveside memorial service on Saturday 10/5/24 at 11:00am. George was a larger than life personality. He always spoke his mind. He loved his family fiercely and we will miss him tremendously.
