Dennis H. Buckland, 58, of Mesa, AZ passed away, September 28, 2019. He was born February 20, 1961 in Puerto Rico to Orval and Laura [Ramos] Buckland. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to New York, where he grew up. Dennis attended Palmyra-Macedon High School, later earned his G.E.D., and then went on to Finger Lakes Community College where he studied Criminal Justice. Dennis worked for many years as a cook at DePaul Assisted Living in Canandaigua, NY until moving to Arizona where he for Walgreens for the last four years. He enjoyed flower gardening, playing cards and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, but what meant most to him was the time he spent with his family. Dennis is survived by his mother, Laura Buckland; daughter, Gabrielle Bunt; son, Adam Buckland; grandson, Kayden; his siblings, Daisy Buckland-Morse (sister and best friend, Acy Buckland, Cynthia Morelock, Dinah Blankenburg, and Robert Buckland as well as many nieces and nephews and his special friends, Bob and Lorie Gilligan, Sandy Pierce and Kurt Sanger. He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Buckland; his sister, Sonia Lawson and his brother, Richard Torrellas.
